Can Machines Think?

This topic has many meanings to what it’s truly asking. Most people are comparing a human’s way of thinking to that of a machine’s. However, this is definitely not the case. The question is asking if machines can think, not if people and computers think alike. It’s just like claiming that “all Muslims are terrorists” as quoted by Donald Trump. In my opinion, machines can reflect but in a unique way. Their approach is based off of mathematical and logical calculations, whereas humans thoughts are consumed with emotion and judgment. Alan Turing had the same theory towards his machine, Christopher as well. The man even proudly mentioned how smart his computer has become during a discussion with Joan. In conclusion, do not assume that machines cannot think since their direction of thought is different, they can think, just not in the same way as us humans.
